Learning Garden Picking Calendar

This sign states: “Learning Garden Picking Calendar. The following calendar provides an estimated  harvesting timeline. See each plant ID sign for specific estimated harvest dates. Please do not pick at  your convenience. The produce grown in the learning garden is reserved for weekly programming and  provided to program participants. Any extras are donated to the Little Free Pantry and local community  fridges.” 

The sign features a large table with a list of produce and sections of the table colored in to correspond  with the time of year the produce is ripe. The table reads as follows: American cranberries and American  hazelnuts are ripe in September and October, Basil in May through October, Bell peppers from late July  through October, Blackberries from mid-August to mid-September, Blueberries in late June and early  July, Broccoli in June, Cabbage from mid-June through September, Carrots from June through October, Cauliflower in June, Cherry tomatoes July through September, Chili peppers from mid-July through  October, Cucumbers in July and August, Dill from May through October, Garlic in August and September,  Grapes in late-August and early-September, Green beans from late-June through early-August, Hardy  Kiwi from mid-August through mid-September, Lettuce in May and October, Maypop in September and  October, Onions from June through September, Peas in May and June and September and October,  Potatoes in August and September, Pumpkins in late-September and October, Radishes from May  through September, Raspberries in from mid-August through October, Rhubarb in May and early-June,  Spinach from mid-May through June, Strawberries in June and July, Swiss chard from May through  October, Tomatillos from July through September, Tomatoes from July through early-October,  Watermelon in August and September, and Zucchini from July through September.
