Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and for groups to learn more about each other and build teamwork skills. Individuals or groups interested in volunteering at the garden should e-mail sprout@drake.edu or check out our volunteer platform DuGood. Age or type of group doesn’t matter as long as you are willing to engage in service! Volunteer activities can range from pulling weeds, harvesting plants, watering the garden beds, doing activities with youth, painting, and spreading mulch – it depends on the day.
