Honey Glazed Carrots
2 cups water
1 lb bag baby carrots
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
ground black pepper
¼ cup chopped parsley
1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the carrots, and cook for 5-6 min until tender.
2. Drain the carrots and add back to the pan with butter, honey, and lemon juice.
3. Cook for about 5 min longer, until a glaze coats the carrots.
4. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.
Pairs well with roast chicken or pork. Serve hot.
